Things to Do in Aurangabad

Bibi Ka Maqbara

 

The Bibi Ka Maqbara is a tomb commissioned in 1660 by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. It is nearly around 5.5 kms from the Hotel.

Ellora Caves

 

It is UNESCO World Heritage Site known for one of the largest rock-cut Hindu Temple Cave dating from the period 600-1000 CE. It is nearly 28 kms from the Hotel.

Ajanta Caves

It is approximately 30 rock-cut Buddhist Cave dating from 2nd century BCE to about 480 CE in the Aurangabad District. It is nearly around 100 kms from the Hotel.

Jayakwadi Dam

 

This is an earthen Dam located in Godavari river. The surrounding of the dam has a garden and a bird sanctuary. It is nearly 50 kms from the Hotel.

Daulatabad Fort

It is also known as Deogiri Fort which is a historical fortified citadel located in Devagiri Village near Aurangabad. It is nearly 15 kms from the Hotel.

Aurangabad Caves

It is the 12 rock-cut Buddhist shrines located on a hill running rough east to west. This cave was dug out of comparatively  soft basalt rock during 6th and 7th century. It is nearly 7 kms from the Hotel.
